Warner Bros. Pictures has unveiled the final trailer for the Live By Night film adaptation. Variety reports that the story comes from Dennis Lehane’s 2012 suspense novel; this book is the second installment in the Joe Coughlin series.
Here’s more from Entertainment Weekly: “Live By Night is a crime thriller set in Boston in the roaring ’20s and the world of gangster-run speakeasies. Coughlin, a gangster with a conscience, crosses the wrong mob boss and pays for it. He flees to Tampa’s rum-running underworld to plot revenge. ”
The video embedded above offers glimpses of star Ben Affleck. In addition to taking on an acting role, Affleck also served as both the director and the screenwriter on this project.
