Barnes & Noble to Launch 4 New Concept Stores With Expanded Cafes

Barnes & Noble Union SquareBarnes & Noble Inc. has announced plans to launch four new concept stores later this year. The Wall Street Journal reports that the company will install expanded cafes with a beverage menu that offers beer and wine.

The food menu will feature breakfast, lunch, and dinner offerings. According to BloombergJaime Carey, the Chief Operating Officer (COO), will take the helm of this new restaurant group.

Here’s more from CNN: “The first store will open in Eastchester, NY in October. Three more are set to open at the Edina Galleria in Edina, MN, the Palladio in Folsom, CA, and at One Loudon in Loudon, VA.” (via The Chicago Tribune)
