Barnes & Noble to Offer Thousands of Signed Books On Black Friday

Barnes and Noble BN Logo 200 (GalleyCat)Barnes & Noble enlisted more than 100 authors to sign thousands of books for Black Friday. This will be the third year that the company will host this special program to entice holiday shoppers.

This year’s offerings will include The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie, Heartless by Marissa MeyerBorn a Crime by Trevor NoahThe Bad Beginning  (A Series of Unfortunate Events) by Lemony Snicket, and The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead. These autographed books will be made available at Barnes & Noble’s brick-and-mortar locations starting on November 25.

Mary Amicucci, the Chief Merchandising Officer, gave this statement in the press release: “Barnes & Noble is proud to announce the return of our popular Black Friday Signed Editions program, which has grown into one of the cornerstones of our holiday offering and something our customers tell us they really love. This is truly a combined effort between an amazing group of leading authors, the publishing community, and Barnes & Noble booksellers to give readers across the country the chance to discover a very special copy of a book by their favorite author, or to find that perfect holiday gift for a loved one.”
