AT&T has partnered with Amazon to sponsor the Kindle 3G with special offers, which means a $25 price drop for the ad-sponsored eReader.
The Kindle 3G with special offers is now on sale for $139. It previously cost $164. In exchange for the cheaper price, customers will have to look at AT&T sponsored screen savers. No plan is required for the device.
What do you think? The Wi-Fi version of the Kindle with special offers is only $114, but you have to have a Wi-Fi connection to access the Kindle Store. The 3G connection is pretty convenient because it means that you don’t have to have a Wi-Fi connection to download books, just a 3G connection.
