Amazon intends to launch a new brick-and-mortar bookstore in San Diego, Calif. The second Amazon Books shop will be based within the University Towne Center Mall.
According to The San Diego Union-Tribune, a sign was spotted “in front of the e-commerce company’s future brick-and-mortar location. The signage confirms what’s been expected since early February, when Amazon first posted online job ads for Amazon Books store managers, booksellers and device enthusiasts.”
The Los Angeles Times reports that Amazon opened the first Amazon Books in Seattle, WA. This physical retail shop offers print books, Kindle eReaders, Fire TVs, and Echo devices for sale. (via GeekWire)
