Amazon is bringing its book recommendation site Goodreads to readers in the U.K.
The social networking platform for readers, which now counts 40 million users, will soon be integrated with Kindle readers and tablets through an update. “The U.K. is the largest market for Goodreads in Europe and bringing Goodreads onto Kindle e-readers and Fire tablets has been one of the most popular requests from our members,” stated Otis Chandler, CEO of Goodreads. “Now, we’re right there on your favorite reading device.”
The update will begin rolling out over the next several weeks. It will be delivered as part of a free update to all generations of Amazon’s Kindles and Kindle Fire tablets.
