Amazon has reported that this year’s Thanksgiving Weekend was its best-ever holiday shopping weekend for devices ever, with Cyber Monday being a record breaking day.
According to Adobe Digital Insights, Cyber Monday broke all online shopping records across the Internet, recording $3.45 billion in sales, up 12.1 percent from the same day last year and 2.6 percent more than Adobe initially predicted.
On Cyber Monday Amazon’s device sales were up more than 2x last year with millions of devices sold. The Echo Dot, Amazon Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote, Fire tablet, and Amazon Echo were the best-selling products from across manufacturers on the site. The company also revealed that Amazon Echo device sales were up 7x over last year’s Cyber Monday.
