Alvaro Martinez has signed on as a comics artist for the DC and Vertigo imprints at DC Entertainment. His new contract dictates that he will create illustrations exclusively for this publisher.
In the past, Martinez worked on DC’s Batman Eternal series. Moving forward, he will be creating illustrations for the Detective Comics series.
Martinez gave this statement in the press release: “I’ve been a DC fan since childhood, so becoming a part of the DC family is one of the best moments in my professional career. Also, I´m blessed to be working on Detective Comics, a series with an incredible legacy in the comic book industry. I’m determined to do my best job with every issue and I hope the fans will love it as much as I love working on the book!”
