ABC and Marvel announced plans for a new television series called The Inhumans. This group of human beings with supernatural gifts was introduced on the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV show.
The first two installments of Inhumans will be showcased at IMAX theatres for two weeks in September 2017. Following this special debut, ABC will air new episodes on a weekly basis.
Here’s more from the press release: “The Inhumans, a race of superhumans with diverse and singularly unique powers, were first introduced in Marvel Comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1965. Since that time, they have grown in prominence and become some of the most popular and iconic characters in the Marvel Universe. Marvel’s The Inhumans will explore the never-before-told epic adventure of Black Bolt and the royal family.”
