92Y’s Unterberg Poetry Center will host a Young Writers’ Workshop this summer for high-school students.

The three-week intensive program will help young writers develop their craft in fiction, poetry and creative nonfiction. The series will also feature several lunch-time discussions with authors about how to make a writing career in New York. Visitors to the course will include novelist Victor LaValle (Big Machine), journalist Elif Batuman (New Yorker staff writer) and poet Matthea Harvey (If the Tabloids Are True What Are You?).

The workshop will run July 11-28 and costs $2400. Applications are now being accepted. Follow this link for more details.
