Memorial Planned for ESPN Writer's Son
Photography student Max Maisel went missing in Rochester on Sunday, February 22.
Although the search for Max Maisel, the missing son of ESPN senior writer Ivan Maisel, was concluded on Monday, the Rochester Police Department investigation will remain active. On Tuesday, via a released statement, the family eloquently thanked local law enforcement officials and other agencies for their combined efforts:
They searched when treacherous weather said they shouldn’t. They searched when common sense said they shouldn’t. They combed some sections of the waterfront more than a dozen times.
