Facebook Paid BuzzFeed and NY Times $3 Million Each to Use Facebook Live
That's a lot of cash for an exploding fruit.
The reason you’ve been hearing so much about Facebook Live recently is that Facebook has spent millions enticing media outlets to use it.
This isn’t exactly news — we learned the social giant was paying media companies to use the streaming service back in April. However, the scope—140 contracts with celebrities and media outlets totaling $50 million—is a little surprising.
