Cover Battle: Food Network Magazine or Variety

Welcome back to another edition of FishbowlNY’s weekly Cover Battle. This round features Food Network Magazine taking on Variety.

For its November issue, Food Network went with Ina Garten carving a turkey. We chose this cover not because its aesthetically pleasing, but because we imagine this is exactly what Garten would look like if she were carving up a human. That look on her face is downright chilling. “C’mon in. Dinner’s almost ready. Tonight we’re having roast Tommy — I mean, roast turkey.”

Variety went in a much less unnerving route, with Bill Murray praying.
