Allure Names Multimedia Director, The Verge Adds Matthew Schnipper
A couple of changes regarding Allure and The Verge today. Details are below.
- Allure has named Britt Aboutaleb its multimedia director, a new role at the magazine. WWD reports that Allure created the position to help expand its digital products. Aboutaleb comes to Allure from Byrdie.com, where she served as editorial director. She previously worked at Elle and Fashionista.com.
- Matthew Schnipper is joining The Verge as deputy managing editor. Schnipper most recently served as The Fader’s editor-in-chief. Ad Age reports that Schnipper will oversee The Verge’s long form features and culture coverage.
