New DC Bureau Chief, Political Reporter at The Daily Beast
The Daily Beast has promoted Will Rahn to DC bureau chief, added Betsy Woodruff as a political reporter.
The Daily Beast has announced the hiring of Betsy Woodruff, as well as the promotion of Will Rahn, according to a staff memo from editor-in-chief, John Avlon.
Woodruff, who previously served as a political writer for Slate and the Washington Examiner, will join The Beast to cover the 2016 presidential campaign and congress as a political reporter. While Rahn, who joined their team last summer from The Daily Caller, will get the official bump to DC bureau chief.
