Facebook matchmaking application Bang with Friends is under scrutiny again, but this time, it’s actually for the “with Friends” part, as Words with Friends developer Zynga filed suit against the developer of Bang with Friends in federal court in San Francisco.
Bloomberg reported that the complaint filed by Zynga alleged that the name of Bang with Friends infringes upon its trademark covering games including Words with Friends and Chess with Friends, and it seeks to bar the use of the Bang with Friends name, as well as unspecified damages.
