YouTube Releases Its Super Stickers Monetization Option for Creators in 60 Countries

It was initially revealed at VidCon 2019 in July

YouTube rolled out a new way for creators on its platform to monetize their videos: Super Stickers.

The Google-owned video site introduced Super Stickers at VidCon 2019 in July, and product manager Zhouzhou He said in a blog post Tuesday that they are now available to eligible creators in 60 countries.

The eligibility requirements are the same as those for YouTube’s Super Chat offering, which enables fans of creators to pay for messages that are highlighted in live chats during livestreams and YouTube Premieres.

He said more than 100,000 YouTube channels are now using Super Chat, with some livestreams earning over $400 per minute for their creators.
