Create A New YouTube Channel With Your Google+ Profile

If you like to keep your social persona consistent with the same user names a profile pictures across the board, YouTube and Google have just made things a whole lot easier for you. Yesterday they added a new YouTube feature that allows users to sign up for a new YouTube channel using their existing Google+ profile.

If you like to keep your social persona consistent with the same user names a profile pictures across the board, YouTube and Google have just made things a whole lot easier for you.  Yesterday they added a new YouTube feature that allows users to sign up for a new YouTube channel using their existing Google+ profile.

What does this mean?  Produce manager Trevor O’Brien explains on the YouTube blog, “You can now use your Google+ profile name and photo on a new YouTube channel, giving you one consistent identity across platforms when uploading videos, sharing, commenting and other public activities.”

According to the blog post, if you have a Google+ profile and you sign up to create a new YouTube channel you’ll see the following screen.
