"You're Listening to David Ignatius..."

The New York Times has made their columnists’ work available in podcast form (although, curiously, the actual authors don’t read their work). The move has generated a lot of good feedback from readers who enjoy downloading their favorite columnists and listening to their daily dose of opinion on the way to work.

So why isn’t the Washington Post following suit?

Could it be that all of us here in DC–with faces for newspapers (Hollywood for ugly people, don’t forget)–should only be read and not seen or heard…?
