You Want Lightman's Job?

With David Lightman’s departure, I will be filling the opening in our Washington bureau as soon as possible. In addition to reporting on the Connecticut delegation, the Washington reporter will have the challenge of explaining breaking and developing stories through a Connecticut and/or regional lens — without succumbing to parochialism. A sophisticated understanding of national issues is a must. The reporter must have a passion for politics, a deep interest in government — and, above all, a keen appreciation of the profound impact that government and politics have on families and individuals.
