Yahoo Sports Radio (YSR) is no more. Effective Aug. 1, the radio brand will be renamed SB Nation Radio.
The name change comes as a result of a deal between SB Nation owner Vox Media and YSR owner Gow Media.
“The creation of SB Nation Radio is an exciting extension for the SB Nation brand, and the reach of our community of reporters and fans, to a new platform that is such a natural fit for sports coverage and commentary,” said SB Nation vp of editorial operations Kevin Lockland, in an announcement.
