Yahoo! Sports Edging ESPN.com, NBCOlympics.com for Gold
NBC may be the official network of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, British Columbia, but according to comScore, NBCOlympics.com is not on pace for a gold medal when it comes to unique visitors.
From Feb. 8-14, the Yahoo! Sports Winter Olympics site pulled in 9.3 million unique visitors, versus ESPN.com with 8.4 million and NBCOlympics.com with 6.5 million.
Yahoo! Sports said its Olympics stable includes writers Dan Wetzel, Charles Robinson, Martin Rogers, Jeff Passan, and Greg Wyshinsky, as well as athletes Sasha Cohen, Dominique Dawes, Tiki Barber, Elvis Stojko, Donna Weinbrecht, Ken Daneyko, Jessica Mendoza, Bryon Friedman, and Jennifer Jones, and video hosts Charissa Thompson and Angela Sun.
