Yahoo!: Come On Over to Our Search Pad Tonight
Yahoo! will roll out Search Pad, a note-taking tool integrated with the search engine, Tuesday at 9 p.m. PT, TechCrunch reported. SearchPad debuted in beta form in February.
According to TechCrunch, Search Pad attempts to auto-populate notes, allowing users to add links and thumbnails, as well. The tool can also figure out where you copied pasted text from.
The one negative, according to TechCrunch: There is no way to set up a hot key, so the only way to use the Search Pad features is to browse to the Yahoo! page.
