Yahoo has acquired Jybe, a mobile app created by five former Yahoo employees who had left the company.
The app, which provided personalized recommendations on food and entertainment, was built by former Yahoo employees, Arnab Bhattacharjee, a former vice president of search technology, Tim Converse, Christian Kunz, Sameer Paranjpye and Karthik Krishnamurthy, who worked on search and big data.
