XY Magazines Destroys Former Members' Personal Info

XY magazine, the young men’s gay publication founded in 2004, has destroyed the personal information of its former readers rather than sell it to a third party, minOnline reports.

Back when the magazine, which had struggled to find advertising for its demographic of young gay and bisexual men, declared bankruptcy, a struggled ensued over its remaining assets — notably identifying information from the over one million members who used XY‘s online dating service.
