Xinhua News wants a shot at the New York media scene, and the Chinese paper is attempting to jump right into the center of it.
The Wall Street Journal reports that one of China’s largest news agencies, and often the government’s mouthpiece, Xinhua News is closing on a 20-year lease for a floor in a Times Square skyscraper
If all goes according to plan, Xinhua will purchase the top floor of 1540 Broadway. The organization already has a presence in the U.S.,
