WSJ Names Lead Night Editor

Alice Hagge moves up.

The Wall Street Journal has promoted Alice Hagge from U.S. news editor for the real-time desk to lead night editor for the real-time desk.

Hagge joined the Journal in 2014 from MarketWatch, where she served as senior editor. She previously served as the assistant managing editor and copy chief for SmartMoney and as a copy chief for Conde Nast Portfolio.

Hagge is taking over for Mark Long, who has been promoted to deputy business editor.
