WSJ Names Deputy Editor Newsroom Standards

Neal Templin has been named The Wall Street Journal’s deputy editor, newsroom standards. Templin was most recently a page one senior editor at the Journal.

“Neal will engage in a wide range of duties, including final reading of articles, video and multimedia projects and will help in many ways to ensure accuracy and fairness in all our content and on all our platforms,” wrote Karen Miller Pensiero, the Journal’s standards editor, in a memo obtained by TalkingBizNews.

Templin has worked at the Journal since 1989.
