Megan Taylor at PBS Mediashift profiled six college-age journogeeks to figure out how (and why) they got their training. It’s worth a read. Most work at their student papers but not all are journalism majors (like the guy who’s majoring in mathematics and economics but taught himself to program and just completed an internship at the Wall Street Journal).
