Working as a White House Correspondent is Hard During the Obama Administration

We’ve heard their complaints, but is it really true that White House press corps has had less access to the president than previous administrations have allowed? According to some numbers by Towson University professor Martha Joynt Kumar, the White House press corps complaints have some validity.

Kumar has tracked the president’s interaction with the press since joining the White House, and according to her analysis, Obama does fail to interact with the press assigned to cover him daily more than his three predecessors.
