Wolff: It’s About Time The NYT Book Review Let Some Air Into the Bestseller List


The always interesting Vanity Fair scribe Michael Wolff, whose critiques of The New York Times Book Review over the years have all but been proven correct by yesterday’s news that business considerations are playing a part in their revamped paperback bestseller list, emails FishbowlNY:

“I do think the NYTBR looks a lot better and it’s about time they let some air into the bestseller lists. Now they just have to get rid of the children, graduate students, and bitter people they have reviewing the books.”
