Wolf Blitzer to Receive $75,000
Wolf Blitzer, lead political anchor for CNN and anchor of The Situation Room, is set to receive the 2012 Common Wealth Award for Mass Communications.
He is among four renowned “leaders and achievers” who will receive the award. They include former Sec. of State Madaleine Albright, designer Kenneth Cole, and dancer/choreographer Judith Jamison.
The honorees will receive their awards at the Hotel du Pont in Wilmington, Del. on April 21. The 2012 winners will receive a shared amount of $300,000.
