WNET's Thirteen.org Gets Facelift, Launches Blogs
Thirteen.org, a multimedia arm of New York public TV station WNET, has gotten a redesign and added four new blogs:
• New York Observer reporter Leon Neyfakh has a weekly book-review column called “Bookish.”
• “Girl on Film,” by fellow Observer denizen Sara Vilkomerson, deals with movies.
• Ex-Village Voice and ex-Pitchfork Media writer and current drummer for indie band Mr. Dream Nick Sylvester is blogging about music at “Riff City.”
• Finally, there’s New York-focused political blog “State
