Witcover Heads To American
Jules Witcover, journalist, author, and columnist, will be teaching this fall semester ’07 as an adjunct professor at American University School of Communication in Washington, D.C.
Witcover will teach Politics and the Media, which will look at the role of the mass media in the electoral process, examine the candidates’ use of the media to get elected, as well as press and television reporting and analysis of political campaigns.
Witcover is a veteran newspaperman of 50 years, having written for the Baltimore Sun, the now-defunct Washington Star, the Los Angeles Times, and The Washington Post.
