Microsoft officially released its Windows 8.1 operating system Thursday, and Facebook’s application for the new OS is already available.

Microsoft officially released its Windows 8.1 operating system Thursday, and Facebook’s application for the new OS is already available.

The Verge reported that the Facebook app for Windows 8.1 includes a feature called Share Charm, which allows users to automatically attach photos into emails.

Other features, according to The Verge, include:

  • Status update, photo, and check-in tabs alongside the chat interface on the right-hand side.
  • Buttons for friend requests, inbox, and notifications at the top right of the app.
