Wimbledon Live vs. the BBC on Centre Court

With the Wimbledon Championships underway across the pond, paidContent:UK reviewed the two streaming-video services available from London: Wimbledon Live and online video-on-demand coverage from the British Broadcasting Corp.

Wimbledon live is The All England Lawn Tennis Club’s own streaming service. Day passes are available for $9.99 and the full tournament costs $19.99. Action from all six show courts is available, and the BBC audio feed is included.

The BBC’s online VOD coverage offers live matches from five courts, as well as streaming coverage of BBC One and BBC 2. It costs $1.53 for each day of the tournament.

The verdict from paidContent:UK: Wimbledon Live wins the match, based on quality.
