Will Facebook Users Soon Be Making a List and Checking It Twice?

The social network went old-school with its new feature

Remember the days when Facebook’s News Feed was full of listicles from the likes of BuzzFeed? A new feature from the social network has them poised to return, but from your friends and family, not from publishers.

Facebook Tuesday began rolling out Lists, which enables users to create and share text lists, clone lists from friends and family that pop up in their News Feeds and ask friends to answer lists.

Lists can also be customized with colors and emojis.

Facebook said information from these new Lists would not be used for ad-targeting purposes.
