Will Facebook Give Ali a Rose Ceremony?
Moral of the story: Facebook employees who decide to compete on reality shows should make sure they have enough vacation time first.
The social-networking site responded to reports that it forced sales representative Ali Fedotowsky to quit ABC’s The Bachelor with a spokesperson telling Silicon Alley Insider: “We appreciate the personal decision to return to work was deeply difficult, but we’re glad Ali decided to come back.”
Another source told Silicon Alley Insider Fedotowsky had run out of vacation time, and she hadn’t been with Facebook long enough to take a paid or unpaid leave of absence.
