Wikimedia Foundation Names Board of Trustees
Wikipedia operator the Wikimedia Foundation announced its board of trustees for the coming year, highlighted by the appointment of Ting Chen as chair and the departure of Michael Snow, who was invited to join the advisory board.
The foundation’s new board of trustees:
Ting Chen, chair (term until July 2011)
Jimmy Wales, founder (December 2010)
Stuart West, vice chair and treasurer (December 2010)
Samuel Klein, secretary (July 2011)
Phoebe Ayers (July 2012)
Bishakha Datta (December 2010)
Matt Halprin (December 2010)
Arne Klempert (July 2012)
Jan-Bart de Vreede (December 2010)
