Why Does Bush Hate Koppel?
On the Colbert Report this week, Dave Marash, formerly of Nightline and now the new face of Al Jazeera in Washington, was asked: “Nightline to Al Jazeera — which one does the Bush administration hate more?”
Marash: “Well I haven’t heard they’ve got Nightline’s coordinates programmed into the computer.”
Stephen Colbert: “Does that worry you at all? Because they’ve ‘accidentally’ bombed Al Jazeera before.”
M: “I’m confident that that bad stuff won’t happen again. And, in fact, President Bush has consented to be interviewed on Al Jazeera.
