Today’s White House Soup of the Day, as reported by MSNBC’s “The Daily Rundown” is Minestrone. Co-host Savannah Guthrie was none too impressed. “I hate to be Debbie Downer this week, but I’m not into Minestrone,” she said. “Can we have some Italian Wedding soup?”
Co-host Chuck Todd wasn’t as critical of Minestrone, reasoning, “Anything that gives you the kidney bean” must be good.
