White House Comm. Director Dan Pfeiffer: Old and New Media 'Have Merged'

White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer acknowledges the challenges of communicating in the “on demand” media landscape, where old media and new media “have merged.”

“It’s almost impossible to stay on top of everything that’s happening,” he said in an interview with Politico.

Pfeiffer, who is a frequent poster on the White House blog, called it, “a digital version of the White House briefing, where we’ll comment on stories or post responses, and then bloggers will comment on what we write.
