From today’s press briefing:
“One news network announced last night with some fanfare that the President was going to ask for TV time next week. Well, that not only wasn’t the truth, it had never been discussed within the White House.”
Ouch.
>UPDATE: A tipster writes in, “it was NBC Nightly News who suggested the Prez would ask for tv time. i saw it.”
