WhatsApp Messenger, Vintique, NFL and more on this week's top paid iOS app charts
Messaging, camera and previously established hit games like Angry Birds Space and Where’s My Perry? dominated this week’s top paid iOS app charts. WhatsApp Messenger took the No. 1 spot on the paid iPhone charts following an August 27 update which encrypts all messages sent over wifi or mobile networks. GMY Studio’s Vintique, a camera filter app very similar to Instagram, took the No. 3 spot on iPhone thanks to a limited time 60 percent discount.
With preseason games already underway and the official kickoff of this year’s football season coming September 5 football themed apps stand to gain a lot in the coming weeks.
