WhatsApp recently introduced the ability for users to privately reply to messages sent in group chats. When you send a private reply, only the chosen recipient will be able to view it in a one-on-one chat. Our guide will show you how this works.

Step 1: In a group chat, tap and hold on the message you wish to privately reply to.
Step 2: On iOS, tap “More.”
