WhatsApp: Here’s How to Delete Your Account

Did you know that WhatsApp allows you to delete your account if you’re no longer interested in using its services? Our guide will show you how this is done.

Step 1: Tap “Settings” in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Step 2: Tap “Account.”

Step 3: Tap “Delete My Account.”

Step 4: Tap “your phone number,” and then type the phone number associated with your account. Note: If you need to change the country code, either tap the code to the left of the “your phone number” field and type the correct country code, or tap the country name to select the proper country (and country code) from a list that appears. You can search for a country manually on this screen by swiping downward to make a search bar appear.

Step 5: Tap “Delete My Account.”

Step 6: You have the option to tell WhatsApp how it can improve. If you wish to respond, type your response, and then tap “Next” in the top-right corner of the screen. You can also tap “Next” to move on if you don’t wish to respond.

Step 7: Tap “Delete My Account” at the bottom of the screen to finish deleting your account.
