What to Paint the Guggenheim New York: Yellow or Not So Yellow?

Did we miss something that said October was going to be about nothing but Guggenheims? First there was last week’s string of stories about the one in Bilbao. Now we’ve moved closer to home and have read this story about the argument over how to paint the one in New York. The preservationists want it to be the original “buff yellow,” because that’s how Frank Lloyd Wright wanted it, whereas the rest of everyone else wants it to remain how its been for years, “an off-white.”
