Wes Craven to Create Graphic Novel

Filmmaker and horror maven Wes Craven has inked a deal to create an original graphic novel, although he prefers the more old-school “comic book.” The gore-loving director (Scream, The Hills Have Eyes, Nightmare on Elm Street) will work with Liquid Comics and producer Arnold Rifkin of Cheyenne Enterprises on the project, which will take the form of a four-issue comic book series launching early next year. Expect to see the story ultimately make its way to the silver screen.
