WCP Brings Back the Funnies

WCP is returning to comics. The paper cut axed them in 2008 to cut costs.

Reaction to the move has largely been positive, says WCP. (But what else would they say?)

In a release put out this afternoon by WCP Creative Director Jandos Rothstein (He’s a graphic design prof at George Mason University when he’s not working at WCP and is not a relative of mine or don’t think, or I’d ask for editorial favors.), he explains, “With its March 11 issue, Washington City Paper debuts a comics page, once again making funnies a significant part of the paper’s editorial mix.
