WB Pulls Gangster Squad Trailer from Theaters
Following the tragic shooting early Friday morning at a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado, Warner Bros. has pulled their promotional trailer for the upcoming film Gangster Squad because a scene includes men opening fire with machine guns on an audience in a movie theater.
The trailer was airing prior to screenings of The Dark Knight Rises but wasn’t shown at the midnight showing where 24-year-old James Holmes opened fired, killing 12.
The film is scheduled to hit theaters on Sept. 7.
